Loft conversions and roof extensions are a great way of adding extra living space, especially if you don’t have the option of building to the side or rear of your property.
Another reason you may consider building up, is because there’s a good chance you won’t require planning permission. In 2015 the planning regulations in London were simplified, which has led to a large increase in the number of loft conversions being carried out under permitted development (without the need for planning permission). We’ll advise you whether or not you’ll be able to carry out your loft conversion under Permitted Development regulations.
You will still need to have any appropriate plans drawn up and all work will need to conform to building regulations. But don’t worry we’ll help you sort that out too. We can help arrange the drawing of architectural plans and any necessary documentation.
For example a loft conversion in Sutton area can cost from £40,000 upwards. The cost is based on factors such as size, type of loft and internal specifications.
The type of loft conversion we recommend will depend on a number of things, including:
Again, this depends on the complexity and size of the extension. Once we’ve assessed the space and specifications we’ll be able to estimate how long the project will take to complete.

We take great care in building to the highest standards and pride ourselves on our attention to detail. Our prices are competitive but we definitely don’t do things on the cheap. You may find someone to do the work for less, but we doubt you’ll find anyone offering better value for your money.

We’ll come to your property, to discuss your loft conversion options.
We’ll assess whether your loft is suitable for conversion and if so, take the necessary measurements needed for a quote.
Based on our initial assessment we’ll provide a no obligation quotation. (Please note all quotations are provisional/subject to change).
If you’re happy to go ahead with the project, we’ll get the ball rolling…
If you’re happy to go ahead with the project, we’ll commence the pre-build process, organising the necessary ‘paperwork’. Such as: Planning Permission (if required), Party Wall Agreements and Building Control.
You may need to engage the services of an architect for larger or more complicated conversions.
If so we can recommend a reliable architect.
Once everything is in place, we’ll agree a start time and begin building your quality loft conversion.
Please note, before commencing work we’ll require an upfront payment (specified in our quote). This will cover the costs of erecting scaffolding and the purchase of materials.
If you need information about your borough’s planning regulations in relation to loft conversions, this is a good place to start.
