You may be considering a simple rear extension or perhaps a two story side extension. Maybe you have an idea of what you’d like, but can’t see how to make it work. Again we can help. We’ll advise you what type of extensions are possible and help you come to the right decision.
If a rear or side extension isn’t possible, we also specialise in loft conversions.
That depends. Simple rear extensions, usually don’t require planning permission. However, more extensive developments, such as two story side extensions will require the submission of plans and subsequent approval.
We can offer informal advice regarding planning permission, but you will need to check the current planning regulations with your local borough council. You should also bear in mind that if it’s required, we won’t be able to start work until planning permission is granted. This can take up to 12 weeks.
If plans are required and you’ll need an architect, we can point you in the right direction.
